The Intern Games is a fast-paced, high-energy team challenge designed to turn new interns into instant collaborators. Teams take on 20 creative photo and video missions across the office, campus, or conference space — all powered through our app and fuelled by a live leaderboard that keeps the pressure on.

It’s playful, a little chaotic in the best way, and built to get people moving, laughing, and actually connecting from minute one.

How It Works


Before the Event

Once you’ve booked, we provide an Event Information page that you can share with your team to help everyone get ready to take part in the activity. You will need to split the group into teams of 4-6. One person in each team will need to download our free app.

 

The Start (10 mins)

On the day, teams of 4-6 gather for a 10-minute activity briefing from your Remote Host via video call. We’ll explain how the game works, answer any questions and get everyone ready to compete.

 

During the Challenge (30-40 mins)

This is where things kick off.

Teams will have about 30-minutes to complete a mix of photo and video challenges designed to get them thinking creatively, moving around, and engaging with their environment in unexpected ways. Some tasks might send them hunting for props or staging the perfect backdrop, while others push them into quick-fire performance moments or creative problem solving.

Not everything is solo either — certain challenges are designed to create collaboration between teams, encouraging them to team up, compete head-to-head, or create large-scale group moments for bonus points.

With the live leaderboard updating throughout, every decision counts — do you go for easy points, or risk it all for a viral-worthy submission?

 

The Wrap-Up

When time’s up, everyone comes back together for the final reveal. Our remote host joins live on screen to run through a highlight reel of the best photos & videos captured during the game — usually a mix of impressive creativity, unexpected chaos, and moments the interns probably didn’t realise were being judged so closely.

We then reveal the final leaderboard and crown the top 3 teams live.

Bragging rights are officially secured.

 

After the Event

The fun doesn’t end when the scoreboard does.

You’ll receive access to your event gallery featuring the best photos and videos from across all teams — perfect for sharing internally, celebrating your interns, or quietly reliving that one challenge that got a little out of hand (in the best way).

How long does The Intern Games last?

The intern games last 45-60 minutes. However, our times are flexible so we can adapt to your needs.

What do we need to take part in the intern games?

To take part in one of our office team building games you’ll need a couple of things.

  • Access to a laptop with video conferencing software such as Zoom for the briefing
  • A smart device with our Mobile Adventures app in each team
  • Lastly, a stable internet connection
How do we get set up for The Intern Games?

We will provide you with step-by-step instructions ahead of the day.

  1. Split your group into teams of 4-6 players per team

  3. On the day, setup your AV and join via video link

We will take care of the rest!

How does The Intern Games work on the day?

Teams will be briefed by one of our On-Screen Hosts then break off into smaller groups to ensure maximum engagement during your Indoor Activity. Our expert Remote Host will be on standby throughout the activity to support teams, encourage communication and provide a fun wrap-up at the end of the In-Person Activity.
