A guide to loading and taking part in your activity
All aboard the Murder Express — where a killer is hiding in plain sight. With the next station fast approaching, your team must uncover the truth before the culprit disappears into the night.
Working in teams, you’ll examine evidence, interrogate suspicious passengers and crack clever clues using the game app. Expect red herrings, hidden details and plenty of laughs as you race against the clock to solve this thrilling whodunnit.
Optional: Dress the Part
Calling all detectives and junior detectives: if you fancy getting into character, feel free to dress the part. Think trench coats, detective hats, magnifying glasses or your finest vintage train-travel style. Completely optional, but highly encouraged for anyone ready to board the Murder Express in style.
In preparation, each player must follow 3 easy steps:
- Download the Mobile Adventures app onto your smartphone.
- Allow all app permissions.
- Just turn up! – (Join the Zoom meeting on the day)

What do I need?
STEP 1. Download the app
To play the game you’ll need the Mobile Adventures app downloaded onto your smartphone. The app doesn’t work on a laptop. Click the link below to see our recommended devices list. The app will also ask for an access code; don’t worry, we hand that out during the briefing at the start of the event!
Which devices are suitable?
STEP 2. Allow app permissions
Allow all app permissions when/if prompted.

**You can delete the app after the event.
STEP 3. Just turn up!
Five minutes before the activity start time, join the video call on your laptop/computer by clicking on the link below. You might be held in the Waiting Room until everyone has joined.
